Te Kohanga o Ngaio
Our Kōhanga is a childcare facilty that children can attend from 6 months to school age, in a full imersion te reo Māori environment. The operation and decision making of our Kōhanga Reo is the responsibility of the whole whānau under the guidelines of Te Kōhanga Reo National Trust. Our kōhanga can cater for a roll of up to 22 tamariki, and currently has 4 teaching staff. This gives us a high staff to child ratio. We have staff qualified in both whakapakiri and ECE and a strong whanau committed to our centers success and excellence. We welcome all whānau com.mitted to te kaupapa o Te Kohanga Reo which is based on four key princliples.
